OUTDOOR FALL MOUNTAIN WEDDING AT HALFWAY HOUSE IN BOULDER, CO | CHRISTIAN & EMILY
Nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Boulder, Colorado, made an enchanting backdrop for these two seeking an intimate and picturesque setting to exchange vows during their mountain mirco wedding. Among the plethora of breathtaking locations, the allure of a mountain elopement in Boulder was unparalleled.
Their love story unfolded amidst towering peaks, serene lakes, and winding trails, ending in a celebration at a local taco shop T/ACO that encapsulates the essence of Boulder, It was the perfect day for an outdoor fall mountain wedding at the halfway house!
Halfway House Weddings
This wedding venue sits halfway (get it?) up Flagstaff Mountain, just on the edge of the city. It’s a great spot for weddings and ceremonies because of its beauty, ease, and price point. It is wheelchair accessible, pet friendly, and has views of the Flatirons and downtown Boulder, Colorado. It has both inside and outside options, but I personally love what Christian and Emily did! They had their private ceremony on the small deck with the Flatirons in the background! Halfway House weddings can accommodate up to 49 people, but with this space, I’d say less is more. You don’t want to feel too cramped. There are no bathrooms here (other than pit toilets nearby) and parking is very limited.
Sunset at Lost Gulch Lookout
After their ceremony, we headed to the top for sunset photos among the peaks at Lost Gulch Lookout! It is a busy spot for sunset, with only 24 parking spots, but worth it for the picture-perfect backdrop!
Celebrating with Tacos and tequila!
To celebrate we all headed to T/ACO in downtown Boulder, where more of their friends and family were waiting for them! A fun little spot downtown with amazing staff, delicious street tacos, and drinks!
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Stockert!
