When to Take Senior Photos at Theodore Roosevelt National Park

Each season in Medora has its own vibe, and the best time for senior photos really depends on the look you’re going for. Spring means wildflowers and everything is nice and green, but there’s always a chance of rain and a bit of mud from snowmelt, so keep this in mind. Summer has longer days and beautiful sunsets, plus the grass is perfectly golden. But it is also the busiest time of year! Luckily, the area is huge, so it’s still pretty easy to find quieter spots for photos. Fall is stunning with fewer people, and the landscape is filled with gorgeous colors. Winter is much less ideal with all of the snow, but the snow-dusted buttes makes for some really unreal contrast.
